Lampengrossier is a family story that began in 2011 thanks to my father, Ton van de Ven sr. (02-02-2020 †).
In 2011, he became a distributor of Bosma in the Netherlands. After a career of over 50 years in the automotive sector, he started selling online at the age of 68! An online business that quickly gained momentum, with my father in the foreground and me handling the technology and later also social media and the LAMPENGROSSIER brand in the background.
In 2015, he encouraged my brother Robert van de Ven to start online sales based on the same concept, but for France.
Thanks to Ton van de Ven sr., the automotive sector in the Netherlands and internationally recognized the Bosma brand for its high-quality lamps in just a few years.
In 2019, I took over this mission with the aim of continuing to work with my father for many years, but due to his health, he planned to take it a bit easier. Unfortunately, my father passed away unexpectedly on February 2, 2020.
As of July 1, 2021, we have moved to our new premises. Still located in Tilburg, but with more space to realize all future ambitions and activities.
